TABLELAND is a guitar based instrumental, ambient, psychedelisound group based out of Seattle. Through a wash of slide and movie projector imagery, the band weaves melodic soundscapes utilizing instruments, gadgetry, samples, loops and grooves, evoking an intense, moody atmosphere wherever they perform. “Tremulous Elemental”, the band’s full length CD was independently released in the spring of 2002, hosting an impressive array of instrumentation, production wizardry and guest talent, including Graham Haynes, (Bill Laswell, DJ Logic) and Eyvind Kang, (Mr. Bungle). Various tracks are consistently being played on KEXP (Seattle’s Indie station) and the boys are gigging around Seattle, feverishly shopping the CD, booking shows and recording. Rough tracks for 13 new songs have been recorded and the second full length CD is scheduled to be out by summer, 2003.
