Coming together in late 2002, Analog creates high-energy, straightforward rock music. Pulling together influences from each member's personal musical tastes, Analog is a band that makes original music without conforming to whatever "Flavor of the Month" sound may be the fashion at the time. The band consists of Jeff Tildes (lead vocals+ guitars), Jake Sauer (bass+ vocals]), and Eric Griffin (drums).

The band's songs are filled with melodies and hooks, that will "haunt your head," singer and principal songwriter Tildes expresses. "Don't bother listening to anything else, you won't be able to get us out of your head to make room for another record." With a wealth of experience to draw from, every member contributes their unique style. J brought most of the songs in to the band when initially getting together. The others have developed their own parts and arrangement ideas to make a personal statement with an overall cohesive sound. They are currently writing new material as a band that will soon rock the world.

Influenced by a range of bands such as Pearl Jam, The Beatles and Incubus, Analog has taken rock, thrown in some pop melodies, and garnished it with a grunge glaze to cook up some tasty jams! The band's goals are simple: to continue to develop their original music and sound and leave their footprints on the world of rock music.

The journey for Tildes began in 1999, and after being in bands around the northeast he headed south to Savannah. After having success with a band there, he yearned for more exposure and regrouped in Atlanta. After playing acoustically around town for two years, Tildes decided to put an edge to his sound, and sought to form a band around his music. That is when he met Sauer and Griffin.

Sauer and Griffin had previous worked together writing and recording their own project. Sauer also played guitars and sang in another band while searching for the right group of people to help fulfill his dream. They eventually decided they needed to find a third person to round out what they wanted in a rock band, and ran across an ad in a local musician website placed by Tildes.

Griffin contacted Tildes in an effort to find the missing link to compliment his and Sauer's talents, and the rest is history. From the start, the three members felt a good vibe while jamming, and this perfect match has continued to develop as they work on honing their songs and creating new material.
