In 1998, Chris, Dave, and Paul joined together as Accretion Disc; although their busy schedules then did not allow much time for their music. But just a few years later, Accretion Disc kicked it into high gear - in every way. For they are determined to continue to do the one thing that they want more than anything else: To play and make music together. And motivated they are, practicing individually and together three or four times a week; continuously improving on their individual sound, and constantly writing new music to play. Accretion Disc blends the styles of space rock and hard rock. It gives the band a unique sound; one that can hit your ears with a smooth, relaxed rhythm, and then a heart-pounding riff that can a shiver down your spine. Although influenced by bands such as Failure, Chevelle, Year of the Rabbit, Hum, and Smashing Pumpkins, their own sound is distinctly a reflection of their ideas, their thoughts, and their feelings.
