Change. Change is always good. The Omaha, NE based band known as 3QE has gone through many changes on their way to the top. Never closing their minds to new ideas and concepts towards musical and personal growth, 3QE’s changes have been more like a visible evolution than anything else.
Forming in 1999 under the name 3/4Evil, the band has gone through several line-up changes, and musical changes through the years. First incepted under the guise of diversified musical styles ranging from funk, jazz, reggae, and straight-forward rock to create their own unique sound, 3QE still strives to their desired musical destination.
After numerous hit and miss line-up changes, and following the release of two very powerful albums; 3QE is still marching their way to the top. Drawing on current influences in the styles of hardcore punk, old-school heavy metal, experimental indie rock, as well as their initial influences; 3QE has formed a solid rock and roll sound guaranteed to please audiences near and far. The band has toured extensively through out the Midwest and is currently branching out to other areas.
What the future holds for this band is uncertain, but with the drive and talent that this five-piece possesses, their bounds are limitless. If you are not convinced, go see them live.
“The band isn’t rehashing current trends, but instead sticking to a pure old-school style and skipping all the whistles and bells many bands throw in the mix in an attempt to sound different. 3QE consists of a flashy and talented bass player, a solid and charismatic drummer, and a front-man that understands the meaning of ‘putting on a show.’ Along with rocking guitars, this band should have audiences bouncing en masse for a while to come.”

“Watching this band on stage is impressive and hearing Clark talk of ‘refreshing the band’ and the progression in the bands musicianship make it one to watch.”
