Spearheading Houston's groove rock scene is Moses Guest, led by guitarist and songwriter Graham Guest.

Guest has traveled and toured across the East Coast and South since his early teens, establishing himself as a veteran of the Houston music scene, and earning nominations like Best Guitarist from the Houston Press. Joining Guest on bass is Jeremy Horton. Since 1998, Horton's funky bass influence adds to the groove that Moses Guest trips on. Jazz drummer, James Edwards sets the rhythm and keyboardis Rick Thompson adds the final element that makes Moses Guest stand a cut above the rest.

Backed by its own record label, Aufheben Records, MOSES GUEST has become an entity in control of its own destiny. With the present inspiration of bands like The Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, and Moe; and past influences of bands like Little Feat, The Grateful Dead, and The Allman Brothers, Moses Guest comes out sounding ripe for today's demand for integrity, longevity, melody, and jam.

Drawing from a variety of influences, Moses Guest has a sound all their own, but the space jams, introspective and creative solos and lyrics and excellent musicianship could earn them strong comparisons with bands like Phish, The Allman Brothers.
