Skimming over different bands on our site, the logo of a Canadian band caught my eye, so I clicked and walked into the psychedelic world of Orchards and Vines.

With over eight years in the making, Orchards & Vines founders Cindy Tomlinson and Ted Koppman have pulled together a group of musicians to create an original and powerful sound that takes your mind to other worlds.

The band members, in order of joining the band are: Cindy Tomlinson - vocals; Ted Koppman - guitar, Ron F - drums; Elinor Harshenin - Cello; Jesse Cullen - Bass. To liken them for the reader, Orchards & Vines are akin to Smashing Pumpkins, or a modern day Jefferson Airplane, but the cello adds a very different dimension that is unique in this genre of music. Great lyrics, excellent vocals and good arrangements make Orchards and Vines a band that is radio-ready.

A lot of recent activity with other music sites such as Napster, MP3.com and others has given Orchards & Vines notariety on the internet music mainstage and we're hoping our neighbors to the north get the opportunity to do some touring so we can get a live taste of Orchards & Vines.
