From Melbourne Australia, a budding new country/pop talent named Nattasha Crestani has taken root and has been turning heads globally with her debut CD Make Me An Angel.

Going by 'Nattasha', she released Make Me An Angel in early 2000. A three month trip to Europe and America followed, where Nattasha played in Nashville and Memphis, before returning to Australia where she picked up several award nominations including Best Female Vocaliost in the Australian Victorian Country Music Awards.

Self-described as 'New Country', Nattasha's music is a blend of pop and country folk, with excellent lyrics and hooks. Her songwriting doesn't follow any standard format, but is truely original music created around heart felt poetry, with the lyrical ability to reach into your soul and move you...creating visual images with sound and voice. Reminding me of The Indigo Girls, Sheryl Crow, or even (poetry wise) David Crosby, songs like Nattasha's Big Dream is a great example of outstanding songwriting...a perfect blend of good hooks, great poetry, excellent musicianship and amazing vocals.

Targeting festival performances, Nattasha already has shows booked into next year throughout her native region of Victoria. If her next CD can re-create the magic captured on Make Me An Angel, I think the world will be hearing more of this Aussie rising star.
