Fresh is one of the best ways I can think of to describe Alexa, a budding new talent from the outskirts of Philadelphia.

While scouring our artists listings, my eye caught the number of press reviews Alexa had with her first CD. Vitamin IC, MP3.com Listen.com and other reputable sources gave a thumbs up across the board, so it drew me in to take a closer listen.

Rain Down On Me and Cry for the Last Time (the latter available only at her MP3.com site) have all of the ingredients for Billboards top 10. Judging from the response she's had overseas, it's only a matter of time until she's noticed by a major label in North America.
