Rory Faithfield is an Australian born singer-songwriter now residing in Dublin, Ireland. His music, presentation of press, biography and his official web page, show an artist that is set on perfection and delivery of a quality product. After 300+ gigs throughout Europe, Faithfield had enough material for his self-titled first release , 'Rory Faithfield’, which was licensed to Prestige Records, produced by Bill Shanley, and featured the single, Nowhere Somewhere Anywhere. The CD is exceptionally well produced, with strong songwriting...lyrics, hooks, and melodies; This combination sets Faithfield's release apart from other acoustic singer-songwriters. Although the songs were straight ahead rock with nothing fancy, they had hooks that kept my interest. Nowhere Somewhere Anywhere was right on the mark as the pick for the single. It has that familiar feel like you've heard it before, but still retains the freshness of a new song. A good beat and lyrics, with which everybody can relate, are two of the keys that make for commercial success. His first release has paved a solid road for a musical career, and if he can follow up with a second CD of equal caliber, Rory Faithfield will more than likely, become a household name in acoustic pop music culture.
