Shonda Sue, a dynamic Country and Gospel singer from Indianapolis is breaking into the Nashville country music scene with her latest CD, Girl Thang. With a voice and vocal control beyond her years, Shonda Sue's third independently produced CD stands alone as a solid CD; professionally produced, a good mix of originals and covers, and great musicianship in her backing band. What sets Girl Thang APART from other country music CDs is the lead vocalist, a STUNNING green-eyed beauty, is a mere 14 years old. Starting her professional music career at age 8, Shonda Sue recorded Girl Thang in Nashville in 2001, and is pursuing a professional music career with the full support of her parents, Craig and Kimberly Moore. Their support is evident in the production of Girl Thang as well as booking of major events, home-schooling and arranging contributing talent for her CDs. This keeps all of the fronts moving forward allowing Shonda Sue to refine her craft and press her incredible advantage of youth and an early start in the dog-eat-dog world of the quest for music super-stardom. Girl Thang clearly demonstrates the vocal ability of a young woman destined for fame. The single, 'Live While I Can', released in Europe and Australia by Comstock Records on May 27th, is expected to give a big boost to Shonda Sue’s career. Watching Shonda Sues career is like watching a blooming flower, and I expect Shonda Sue will be a household name in country music in the near future. For more information on Shonda Sue, CLICK HERE |
