Jazz is an art form that is truly American. A staple of music worldwide since it's creation in the 1920s, jazz often takes a back seat to popular music, although it has played a major role in shaping of modern music of today.

Boise Idaho's Rob Walker, leads an exciting jazz sextet comprised of the Pacific Northwest's finest musicians, performing original scores written by Walker. Rob Walker has shared the stage with such acts as Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, The Supremes, The Temptations, The Moody Blues and David 'Fathead' Newman. Rob is active as a jazz educator and as a faculty member of Jazz Saturdays, a jazz improvisation series held at Boise State University, and has written for The Mike Vax All-Star Big Band.
